This introductory course is designed to help you build practical Excel skills using real world healthcare examples. What healthcare data is, where it comes from, and how Excel can be used for basic reporting and analysis.
Session 2: Cleaning and Preparing Data
How to identify missing values, duplicates, formatting issues and common data quality problems.
Session 3: Basic Analysis in Excel
Using formulas, summaries, percentages, counts and pivot tables to analyse healthcare data.
Session 4: Visualising Healthcare Data
Creating charts, graphs and simple dashboards that communicate findings clearly.
Session 5: Introduction to Power Query
A beginner friendly introduction to importing, cleaning and transforming data using Power Query.
Session 6: Bringing It All Together
Review of key skills, project guidance, quiz, recap and final questions.
Project and Certificate
Participants will complete a short practical healthcare data project after the live sessions.
Once the project has been reviewed and deemed appropriate, participants will receive a certificate of completion.
